How It Works
At the core of the 0808 Plus Series is PDLC (Polymer Dispersed Liquid Crystal) smart film — a layer of liquid crystal micro-droplets embedded in a polymer matrix, laminated between two 8mm super-clear glass panels using EVA interlayer.
When power is ON: A 60V electrical field aligns the liquid crystal molecules in a uniform orientation. Light passes straight through the glass, which becomes crystal clear — optically comparable to ordinary ultra-clear architectural glass.
When power is OFF: The molecules return to a random, scattered arrangement. Light is diffused evenly across the surface, and the glass instantly transforms into a frosted, opaque white state — providing 94% haze and complete visual privacy.
No curtains. No blinds. No motors. No mechanical failure points. Just solid-state, reliable switching — controlled by remote, wall switch, smartphone app, voice command, or integrated building management system.
